A robust back-end is a cornerstone in every transactional system. We have thorough experience with software development on and management of Oracle Databases and as such this is our preferred back-end for deploying large scale enterprise applications. For embedded databases we use Apache Derby.
Java is an industry proven standard. All our middle-tier software and rich client front-ends are developed on the java platform. For web based rich clients we use Adobe Flex.
Interoperability and integration with other applications is key in today's drug discovery environment. Therefore we build as much as is possible on open standards such as XML, SOAP,Web Services.
